Miami Hurricanes 2013: Season Preview and Predictions

With the past few years being dominated by talk of NCAA sanctions looming for the Miami Hurricanes, it was easy to give up on a team that had a bleak future. Through the hard work Head Coach Al Golden and his staff, Miami fans a have reason to see hope in their team regaining the championship for that the fan base has come accustomed to.


Hurricane Force Passing Attack

University of Miami quarterback Stephen Morris put on an absolute gem of a performance Saturday against North Carolina State. The Hurricanes defeated the Wolfpack 44-37.


Canes and Fans Unimpressive in Home Opener

The Miami Hurricanes defeated the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats 38-13 in their home opener on Saturday. The score doesn’t do justice to the anemic effort put up by the Canes against an FCS school. Just as embarrassing as the performance was the attendance.


Humbling Road Trip for Hurricanes

The Miami Hurricanes traveled to Manhattan, Kansas in play the 21st ranked team in the country, Kansas State. This was a very humbling experience for the Hurricanes to say the least. Coming off of a feel good win at Boston College, the Canes were looking to make a statement on the road against a ranked opponent. (more…)

Hurricane Duke Ravages Boston

This past weekend the Hurricanes of Miami headed up to Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts to face ACC rival the Boston College Eagles. The last time these two teams faced off was in Miami and it didn’t end so well for the ‘Canes. With an entire offseason to reflect on the embarrassing thrashing they received in front of their home fans, the Hurricanes were hungry for redemption. (more…)
